Center for Occupational Skills Acquisition - 2 (COSA-2)
(To be introduced in 2024)
COSA-2 is envisaged as the training center focused on short-term or up skilling training in COSA-2 that will be operated by industries. This advanced TVET center aspires to serve as an inter linkage between the industry and the institute modeled on a customized and industry cooperated training, executed through partnership with industry partners or reputed training companies.
In COSA-2, industry-accredited training programs will be delivered with technical support from partners (Academic or Industry partners), which will enable trainees to gain niche skills and demand seek employment opportunities outside the state or overseas. COSA-2 will also become industry cooperation training facilities where reputable companies will set up own training workshops for training and recruitment of prospect employees, or to carry out specific industrial tasks. About 500 trainees are expected to benefit from these industry cooperated training models.
