This is sought to be achieved by establishing global standards in skill development and certification. This will be achieved by the following vision:
- Establish internationally recognized standards in the management and creation of training infrastructure for advanced training/skill development.
- Introduce an industrial cluster approach to develop occupation-ready skill acquisition.
- Strengthen linkages and cooperation with industry through training partnerships, as well as to support in-company customized training programs.
- Foster innovation in skill development, through research in the assessment of future skills, lifelong learning, productivity enhancements and application of technology.
- Promote entrepreneurship among the youth by equipping them with the required skills, nurturing their business ideas and facilitating financing and marketing linkages.
