Welcome to the Project CODE Hackathon, where innovation meets skill and ideas transform into reality! This hackathon is designed to bring together students, to collaborate, compete, and create ground breaking solutions to real-world challenges.

1. Code of Conduct:
- Participants must maintain professionalism and respect towards mentors, judges, organizers, and fellow participants.
- Plagiarism, misrepresentation, or any form of cheating will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Participants must comply with the legal and ethical standards of software development.
- Any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may lead to disqualification.
2. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
- All solutions developed during the hackathon must be original and not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
- For selected cases/applications, Participants will have to handover ownership of code to an agency designated by the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment.
3. Code Submission
- Participants must submit their solutions before the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.
- The submission must include:
- Source Code: Well-commented and structured code.
- Executable Files (if applicable).
- ReadMe File: Overview of the project, setup instructions, and dependencies.
- Installation Guide: Steps to deploy and run the project.
- Video Demonstration (if required): Short demo of the working solution.
- Open-source libraries may be used but must be cited properly with license compliance.
- Any external data or APIs used must comply with relevant privacy and licensing regulations.
4. Documentation Requirements
Participants must submit a Project Report, which should include:
- Problem Statement: A clear definition of the problem being addressed.
- Solution Overview: A high-level explanation of the solution and technology stack used.
- System Architecture Diagram: Depiction of the overall design and data flow.
- Features & Functionalities: Description of key features and intended user experience.
- User Guide: Instructions on how to use and test the solution.
- Testing & Validation: Information on testing strategies and results.
5. Code Quality & Evaluation Criteria
- The submitted code must be structured, readable, and modular.
- Proper naming conventions and best coding practices should be followed.
- The evaluation will be based on: *
- Functionality: How well the solution meets the problem statement.
- Technical Execution: Efficiency, scalability, and security of the code.
- User Experience: Ease of use and accessibility of the solution.
- Impact & Feasibility: Practicality and real-world applicability.
6. Disqualification & Violations
- Any violation of rules, including plagiarism, submission of pre-existing projects, or use of unauthorized code, may result in disqualification.
- The organizers have the right to revoke prizes, recognition, or any benefits granted if a violation is discovered post-event.
- Participants must not attempt to manipulate evaluation results or misrepresent contributions.
7. Data Privacy
- Personal data collected during registration will only be used for hackathon related activities and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
8. Amendments & Disputes
- The organizers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with participants being notified of any changes.
- Any disputes arising from the hackathon will be resolved at the sole discretion of the organizing committee.
- By registering for the hackathon, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
9. Prize money
- First Prize: INR 11,000
- Second Prize: INR 5100
- Third Prize: INR 2100
10. Last Date for Registration: 10.06.2025
- Last Date for Solution Submission:30.06.2025
